The merchant already has an offer.
Publishing a menu or service list should not require a custom website, a new till or a lengthy implementation.
Oído turns existing menus and service lists into multilingual customer storefronts, with demo ordering, tips, feedback and merchant insights. The ambition is self-service setup without replacing existing software; production payments and bookings are still in development.
01 / The opportunity
The commercial hypothesis: turn an existing offer into a multilingual storefront, connect customer actions to merchant operations and reduce setup effort without replacing existing software.
Publishing a menu or service list should not require a custom website, a new till or a lengthy implementation.
A mobile storefront adapts to restaurants, cafés and studios, connecting discovery with demo orders, extras and feedback.
Orders, customer feedback and useful reporting could create recurring merchant value—if pilots show sustained use.
02 / Product
01 · Menu in
Product concept: capture a menu or service list, detect its items and flag uncertain prices for merchant review.
02 · Client acts
Guests open a QR page without downloading an app. Browsing and demo order flows work; production payments are not yet live.
03 · Data out
In the demonstration, merchants see orders, mock totals, tips and feedback. The displayed amounts are demo data.
03 / Evidence, without inflated traction
Working software is not yet product-market fit. This is what the browser testing supports, and what merchant pilots need to establish next.
Verified in browser QA
QA evidence dated 4 August 2026. Screens and sample amounts shown on this page use demo data.
Still needs commercial evidence
We do not claim payment GMV, recurring revenue or verified paying customers.
The distinction is intentional: functional QA supports a beta-stage claim, not a transaction-volume or customer-retention claim.
04 / Why this business can scale
The equity thesis depends on proving that one product can be adopted repeatedly at a sustainable merchant acquisition cost.
Oído is designed to sit alongside existing payment and operations tools. Its initial purchase is a narrower decision than switching POS providers.
Monthly subscriptions would be justified by repeat guest usage, ordering, tips, feedback and reporting — not simply the creation of a menu page.
05 / Model
Proposed €79 one-time setup. Payment-provider processing costs remain to be confirmed; live settlement is not enabled. All prices are hypotheses pending paid validation.
06 / Go-to-market
Oído is Barcelona-based and pre-incorporation. Spain, the UAE and Mexico offer different routes to pilot testing—not three launched markets.
Five to eight businesses have expressed willingness to pay and are awaiting demos. Activation and paid terms still need verification.
An existing Dubai partner provides a route to merchant discovery. Pilot commitments, distribution and payment requirements still need validation.
Restaurants in the founders’ family network can support remote onboarding and operational testing without establishing a local office.
These are testing opportunities, not signed paying merchants, launched international operations, recurring revenue or payment GMV.
07 / Competitive context
Restaurant tills and payment suites remain the operational backbone. The proposed wedge is a lighter guest-facing layer, designed to work beside them.

Reference comparison retained from the original investor page: published Spain pricing as assembled in October 2026, before VAT; vendor plans and fees can change.
Dish view · AR
Guests see a dish at real size on their own table through the phone camera, from the venue’s photos, and add it to the order from the same view. A possible future Venue capability, intended to support average order and fewer “what is this?” questions to staff.
Launch kit · new owners
For businesses that are just opening: a ready website, Google and booking listings, Instagram posts with autoposting, delivery and catering listings, a closed circle of owners by sector, and referrals. Exploratory concept, subject to merchant demand and tests of acquisition economics.
08 / Team
CPO
Product strategy, pilot design, merchant evidence. AI-assisted products, growth and international launches.
CEO & CTO
Company direction, engineering, payments architecture, merchant relationships.
Founders’ exact legal ownership will be documented at incorporation; no registered cap table is implied.
09 / Fundraising proposal
Indicative target of US$200,000–250,000 at pre-seed. Amount, legal instrument, valuation and incorporation structure are not finalized.
Payment readiness, evidence-grade pilot delivery, merchant acquisition experiments, onboarding reliability and a measurable pricing/retention model.
No production revenue, GMV or signed commercial contracts are presented as established facts. The next financing milestone is merchant and unit-economics evidence, not feature count alone.
